Every day married to my husband has been a gift.
Last month we spent Spring Break in beautiful Galveston, Texas...
We had a blast exploring and enjoying the simple adventures and pleasures of the small beach town.
Unfortunately everything closed around 6:30 on weekdays... but that just made for awesome dinners...
Like... Ice cream for dinner... A few nights in a row. Worth it.
We had an amazing time in Texas and cannot wait for our next adventure!
When we returned, puppy Suki would not leave our side... poor baby.
She tied me up and wouldn't let me go anywhere.
And then she figured out how door handles work.
She's dangerous.
This past April the hubby and I met up with a gorgeous couple in Princeton and spent the rest of the afternoon there. It was awesome!
We love just walking around and spending time together there... especially when there's ice cream involved... and there should always be ice cream involved...
There are only 35 School days let, and 52 full days including weekends until I leave for Italy (I leave the day after school ends on June 21st, 2016.
I am SO excited! I am working on a pet project of telling a story through film while I am in Italy. It should be pretty incredible.
Sweet Start has a wedding every weekend this month! Can you believe it is already May?!
One weekend we actually have TWO weddings! It is definitely going to be intense...
The hubby and I got a groupon for a massage, and I was thinking we should use it the morning I leave for Italy so that by the time I get on the plane I am totally 100% relaxed... especially as I will be traveling all alone to Italy and meeting up with my parents in Sicily! It will definitely be an adventure... and I'm definitely already nervous about doing it alone. Of course I can handle it... but it's nice to share every experience with someone you want to share everything with. Cue Vlog.
Last Sunday I got to spend it with my gorgeous girl friends, Cassie + Mackenzie in the old Big Apple! It was so great catching up and spending time with these amazing girls. I really am so blessed to have such amazing ladies in my life...
The train trip there was the train trip that made all the other trains late... so sitting around and waiting was the highlight of that ride.
But we had to say our goodbyes in our most classic way possible... As usual.
This past weekend was an absolute blast!
Thursday was The Momma's birthday, Friday was the baby brother's birthday, and Sunday was our Sister-in-law's birthday!
Celebrating started on Thursday, and on Friday, Aunt Jo, Alexis, + Uncle Scott all came up for the baby brother's 19th birthday and we all went to an Amazing Escape the Room Adventure.
It was an absolute blast! We made it out with only seconds to spare! Literally we had 51 seconds left! It was awesome!
On Saturday, my middle brother, D.J. picked up the most angelic sweetest little chicks ever! I cuddled with a few - I just couldn't get enough of them!
Look how sweet they are!
On Sunday the hubby and I drove down to Vorhees for a fantastic Brazilian Steakhouse restaurant where they basically feed you meat off of swords. But really, I go for the cheesy bread. It's the best!
Lauren celebrated surrounded by friends and family, amazing food, and love all around.
I was so excited for the gifts we got Lauren, I couldn't wait to see her face! Unfortunately one of them is going to be given later because it was processed late and there was a website error... so that kind of stinks... but I'll be picking it up tonight and I'm sure turned out amazing!
The best of my 2016 year, however is that I have been rehired and I have accepted a position to return back to my amazing job as a teacher at an incredible school that I am absolutely in love with being a part of. Below is the moment captured by my awesome girl friend, Natasha, who I never would have met if I had not been hired at this amazing school.
PURE JOY!
In Suki news... she got a new toy... looking at it now it may have been a weird choice to get her a wiener dog chew toy... but she loves it! Hmm... hahaha!
Anyway, it is now May 2nd, and we have so many exciting things happening!
